The Festival of Fireworks is one of the largest firework events in the country around September. So it's warmer than going to one in November. The fireworks start at 8.30, with four companies showcasing their displays to music. There is a 15 minute interval between displays. Best fireworks of the year. Plenty of parking and space to sit down and watch the display. There is a food and a steam engine show at the same time.

I attended and camped here as part of the Bloodstock open-air metal festival. It was beyond beautiful with trees and plants as far as I could see, naturally the festival had cordoned off areas of the park with fencing and there were tents everywhere but you could still be enveloped by natural wildlife and scenery as soon as you woke in the morning...I imagine, without any doubt that this park would be a feast for the senses should you wish to go for a walk,picnic, or just wandering out on a wee adventure. The place is gorgeous.

Catton firework spectacular is truly spectacular to say the least. Would you recommend watching the fireworks. I’m sure they get better each year!

I went for The Sausage and Cider Festival. It was amazing. I was in the Glamping Tents. A totally fantastic long weekend from Thursday to Monday. Staff were all very helpful, polite, friendly and professional. James and Lily were exceptional. The food vendors offered a wide variety of food. My only criticism would be the food vendors and the bars. Food Vendors - They should offer smaller portion options. Bars - You need more than 2 bars to cater for everyone. Overall a totally fantastic and amazing experience and I would recommend it to everyone of all ages.

Beautiful location all year round but always look forward to early August each year for Bloodstock open air festival. Can't wait to finally be back this year

Only visited for the fireworks extravaganza and boy was it a great show. Really well though out, parking was a doddle, gerrin in n out. Well worth a look, if you get the chance.

Beautiful, 18th century, stately manner that holds weddings parties, and of course the Leeds festival, even with the bad rain. It was a pleasure to see this house, the fact that it is being well maintained is wonderful, we lost far too many of the stately homes in the past and so to see one in such good state of repair is wonderful.

Visited for the festival of fireworks and steam engine fair. Absolutely brilliant day, organisers did a fantastic job. The staff on site were friendly and helpful. Plenty of toilets and food outlets on site, on the day. I'd like to return to explore Catton Hall itself more.
